I think we assume that these hit in places like Oklahoma, in the middle of no mans land, but this is close to downtown Dallas, on Mockingbird Lane! The weather was really spooky yesterday. It poured rain all morning from the tropical storm then for about 5hrs we had sunny to rain and then sunny to rain.
It was scarey actually hearing the siren go off in our city and getting a call from the fire department to take shelter. Of course, we didn't listen b/c we are last minute kind of people. ;) I think there were roughly 3 tornadoes that hit ground around the Dallas area yesterday.
