Uniquely Woven

This past Sunday we committed ourselves to godly parenting. Our church doesn't call this "child dedication" because it's really not child dedication, but instead a dedication to godly parenting. We made a committment to:

1. God and His Word
2. Pray daily for obedience to God's will in our lives and William's
3. Teach William the truths of God's Word
4. Anticipate and seek to lead William to a personal faith in Jesus Christ at the proper time

We would have liked to have done this a year ago, but at the time we were preparing to move and weren't able to do it at our previous church. William looked like a giant next to all the babies on the stage. Pastor Wayne held William and prayed for him. During this time I'm supposed to be praying but instead I'm thinking oh lord, he's gonna grab his glasses or start screaming. Thankfully, he was a perfect little angel!
