We have been facing some major hurdles with our adoption. There are a lot of unknowns going on in Ethiopia right now as well as delays, delays, delays. I might go into detail at some point, but I don't always want to use this blog as a means to just vent my frustrations.
I feel like throughout my day sometimes I can hear God laughing at me as I continuely worry about what is going to happen and am anxious. All along He is really saying:
"Now, Lauren and Keith, you know I have chosen children for you in my time."
We don't know His full plan for our lives, but we must be trusting in Him only.
I found these quotes this week and I just LOVE them and can't get them out of my brain!
"It is poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish."
Mother Teresa
"Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine, and injustice in the world when He could do something about it. But I'm afraid God might ask me the same question." Unknown author

Praying for you, cuz, as you learn patience the hard way. You're right, God's timing is perfect, though certainly not our timing. We had to learn patience the hard way, too, waiting for Lily Grace. She was worth the wait! Love to the whole family
I think that when we are called to do something for His purposes and His glory, we have to be more patient than ever to work in His timing. Allow Him to do the work- you wouldn't want it done any other way. And vent all you want...it's a great way to ask for prayers!
