We celebrated William's first birthday at Rudys last weekend. It was a nice, family party and it was very stress-free (the most important thing!) We did an Elmo theme and my sweet friend Nicole made him the cake. It was adorable!! Our little man is into all kind of things these days. Here are a few fun facts about him:
1. He is officially off of formula and the bottle. Yay! He LOVES milk and drinks about 24oz a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
2. He is OFF the charts on height. His pedi can't even tell me what percentile he is. He is 50% on weight.
3. He opens doors now. I am NOT happy about this! :)
4. If I just say "Caroline" or "sister" his face lights up. He truely loves her more than anything.
5. He hates to have his diaper changed. It's a knock down drag out every time!
6. He's pretty content not talking. He will say "da-da" every now and then, but I have a feeling he will never be as verbal as his sister.
7. He is literally the most content baby I have ever seen. If you just look at him he smiles.
8. He typically goes to bed at 6:30pm and wakes up at 5:30am, but we are working on changing his schedule to 7:30pm as bedtime and wake-up time hopefully around 7am. Keith and I desperately need quiet time before the kids wake up!
9. I feel as though I try to maintain a fairly clean house, but somehow this kid can find every speck of dirt on our floor. It goes straight to his mouth.
10. He has 8 teeth and his one year molars are coming in.

I agree...where did the time go!!?? Will is one of the most handsome little boys I've ever seen and such a sweet one at that! I just can't believe he is already 1! Congrats Mommy on making it through that trying first year and on so far raising such a wonderful little man!
