Too busy!

It's official! We are in Dallas. Here's a brief summary of what we did today and what this week looks like...

Today we bought a french door refrigerator for the new house! We were able to get $500 off the price b/c there was a teeny tiny ding on the side. We don't care! It's going to be hidden by cabinets on either side. We also met with a plantation shutter company. We actually got to go in the manufacturing area and see how they are built. I love it when Keith says things to me like "I can make those." I just love to look back at him and just smile. What margin they have on those puppies! We also had our walk-thru this afternoon. It took about 2 hours. We went around with blue tape marking all the paint spots. Our builder, Highland Homes, has been awesome. It was a little rough getting started working with the sales associate in the model home, but the builder has been great to work with.

Friday morning we have another walk thru and then we close in the afternoon. After that Keith is headed back to RR. Our packers are coming Saturday to get everything boxed up. We are SO thankful that Keith's company is paying for the entire move and packing up the whole house. Then on Monday the movers should be coming to the new house to get everything unloaded. We are guessing our first night in the house will be on Sunday and we are just going to camp out in sleeping bags.

Overall, I feel like there are so many things to say right now and so many sweet friends to mention. If I have not responded to your call, email, text, just give me time...I will soon. Here are a few things I am behind blogging on-

1. Our dear friends, Robert and Marcy, came to visit from Virginia. It was so much fun catching up with them. We are keeping our fingers crossed that they will be back to Texas very soon. They've always followed us where we have moved (Marcy I can hear your laugh now) so I know they will wise up and move to Dallas area and forget the hippies. :)

2. Our great friends, the Garretts, hosted along with the Longorias a going away party for us. So sweet of them! We are going to miss our real life group friends!

3. Caroline had her 4th birthday party at Pump it Up last Saturday. The kids ran WILD. We wanted her to celebrate wit her friends so we had her party early. The new toys have been keeping her busy. We will do a small family thing for her on 7/7 when she is officially 4.

4. Caroline wrapped up "Fancy Nancy" dance camp last week. I let her do this last year and she literally talked about it all year. She got to go for a few hours every day last week. She loved it.

5. Father's Day was yesterday and we spent most of the day on the road. We stopped off at my parents and they fed us some Rudys BBQ and then headed to Frisco. Caroline made him a little picture of her hand and then I had my friend make a mold of Caroline and William's hand in clay. Academy also paid him a visit. I am truely, truely, thankful that he is an amazing father to our babies.

6. I took lots of house pictures today so stay tuned.

My eyes sting. Good night!

The kids LOVED the party! We were so glad to be there and see ya'll before ya'll moved. Lillian asked about Caroline yesterday and I reminded her that Caroline moved far away. I wonder how long it will take for her to really realize that.

Playgroup won't be the same without ya'll! We will miss you so much! I guess I'm going to have to tell you about all the good horror movies on facebook for now. :)
