New house!

We are alive indeed! Praise God I have the internet again! We have been in the house now for about 3 weeks. I would say the majority of our boxes are all unpacked and I am just still in the process of getting organized. It's been a little challenging with a now toddler who cries when I leave the room, but we are managing.

So far, we LOVE Prosper. I just feel like it is an ideal little town (population of only 9k.) We've already gotten a welcome email from the mayor, met the postman who told us if we are short on a stamp to leave 44 cents in the mailbox, and laughed when we saw the UPS man and the Fedex man eating together at our local cafe. Prosper was recently ranked #5 in the best suburbs of Dallas by D Magazine. I can see why! :)

Moving Day!





This is our mud room. We actually had this built into the plans. I've always wanted one of these! No more junk laying around the house!



This is called the "planning room," but I like to call it "mommy's office." This is the best room in the house and most people comment on this room. Right now I have a desk under the cubbies and a "cottage" style wicker chair behind me. Keith has putting bead board up in this room on his project list.
