preschool

Caroline started preschool today. This is her last year before kindergarten! I really love her preschool. She's going to a local church that we are actually visiting. She walks in the classroom puts her backpack, lunch, and snack away on her own and then all of the kids sit quietly and color. When it came time to pick her up all the kids were sitting in a circle for storytime. It was so peaceful! They don't take naps anymore. They just have "rest-time." We will be starting our bedtime routine at 6:30 now with a goal of lights out at 7.



Sir William also started in a mother's day out program. He's going twice a week for a few hours (C goes 3x/week). He had no nap today so he is sound asleep in his crib as we speak. I think it will take some time to teach him to sleep on his napmat there.

Here's the BIG question of the day....What did I do? I enjoyed 5hrs by myself! I spent my time laying shelf paper in the pantry and then I enjoyed a nice cold coke while I caught up on the news!
It really made her day to come home to some homemade chocolate chip cookies to celebrate her day. We really had a rough morning just trying to get everyone ready and out the door, so I was so glad to see her smiling this afternoon. If you are wondering, I promise I did not place that A&M cup like that on purpose.
