our home renovation: the study

The previous owners of our house had the extra front room of the house set up as a formal living area. One of the things I love about new houses these days is that you won't find these. Don't get me wrong...if you have the space go for it...but if not, your house needs to be functional. SO...we decided to make the formal living a study/office space. This is where I have my mommy desk and a very large bookcase. This was the one piece of furniture we bought and I LOVE it. Tons and tons of books.
